Terms of Use

1. The service

Potpal helps you look after plants: it recognises species, plans care, reminds you and talks to you in each plant's character. Its advice is general horticultural guidance; results with living plants are never guaranteed.

2. Your account

You need an account (Apple, Google or e-mail), shared with Foodoo and Fluffbook. Keep it secure; you are responsible for what happens under it.

3. Subscriptions

Potpal is free with limits; Premium is a subscription billed by Apple or Google. A free trial, when offered, turns into a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your store account settings. Refunds follow Apple's and Google's policies.

4. Your content

Your photos and messages stay yours. You give us the licence needed to store and process them to run the service for you. Don't upload anything you have no right to or that is unlawful.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break it, scrape it, or use it to harm anyone.

6. AI-generated content

Characters' messages and diagnoses are generated by AI and can be wrong. Use your judgement; for valuable plants, ask a specialist.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for the health of your plants.

8. Changes and termination

We may change these terms with notice in the app. You may stop using Potpal and delete your account at any time.
